KidsLove Food™ is owned and operated by a Registered Dietitian, Kristie L. Finnan, RD, LDN.
Kristie graduated from Penn State University with her Bachelors of Science in Nutrition. After College she went to Grad School at Framingham State University where she was working on her Masters Degree in Nutrition Education (MEd), completed her Dietetic Internship and passed her Registered Dietitian Exam in 1996.
In addition to being a Dietitian, she is a published children’s book author and has oodles of experience working with and presenting to small and large groups of kids. She is also the Mom of 3 little ones (7, 6, 2) and can completely relate to the many struggles parents have dealing with picky eaters, introducing new foods and teaching kids to make healthy choices.
Kristie had a successful 15 year career working in pharmaceutical/biotech industry where she saw first hand how important the role of food plays in our daily lives and how what we eat can contribute to many different diseases. Her favorite specialty was Pediatrics where she worked for four years learning a lot about kids healthcare.
After several “Ah-Ha” moments working in Oncology (the last 2 years of her biotech career) & having her family’s life effected by cancer, Kristie has decided to follow her passion for Food & Nutrition. She is determined to make a difference by sharing her knowledge of Health & Nutrition with others while making eating healthy realistic, delicious and fun.
Kristie is a Nutrition Counselor & Educator in Doylestown, PA. She loves working with kids, families and groups of kids in schools. She is also the Founder of The Doylestown Nutrition Network.

She lives with her husband, three kids and silly English Setter in Doylestown, PA. When she isn’t working, writing, playing outside with her kids or trying new ways to get her own children to eat more vegetables, she spends her time experimenting in the kitchen with new recipes, getting muddy in her garden & taking pictures. When she manages to find any extra “me” time, you will find her getting a pedicure, shopping for new makeup, taking a yoga class or on her deck with friends.
